Panamanian 24 men Pre-Selection announced

The Panamanian Basketball Federation (FEPABA) released the 24-men list called at the National Team Camp to prepare the CentroAmerican Championship, scheduled for August 5-10 in Cancun, Mexico. The players will start practicing at the Arena Roberto Duran from July 15. In case of not availability of that court, the practice sessions will be held at the Gimnasio de la Escuela Profesional. Among the players convocated there are 2006 WC veterans Jair Peralta (178-G-76, college: Tennessee-Martin), Maximiliano Gomez (196-G/F-75), Camargo Dionisio Gomez (203-F-80, college: Arkansas), Jaime Lloreda (201-F-80, agency: HM Sports Agency, college: LSU), Michael Hicks (193-G-76, college: Texas A&M - C.C.), Antonio Garcia (203-F/C-76, college: Ky Wesleyan) and Jamaal Levy (206-C/F-83, agency: Priority Sports, college: Wake Forest). Two other big names are the ones of Danilo Pinnock (196-G-83, agency: SportsTalent, college: George Washington) (currenly playing in Capitanes de Arecibo, Puerto Rico) and Gary Forbes (201-G/F-85, college: Virginia) (who is playing in Trotamundos de Carabobo, Venezuela). Josimar Ayarza (204-F-87), Abdul Herrera (208-C-85, college: Cincinnati) and Gyno Pomare (203-F-86), instead, are the new names, they are all playing in NCAA and are the future of Panamanian basketball, together with the King brothers, Daniel King (199-F-87) and Jonathan King (193-G-90), who are they too playing in USA.
