Alemana P. - UDC 71-66

Alemana held off UDC to earn the third position in the final ladder. UCD finished second despite the loss. Alemana P. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to UDC's 32. Alemana P. had a 36-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for the former international center Tatiana Gomez (192-1981) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds. The former international point guard Fabiola Pardo (165-1976) helped adding 12 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Javiera Campos (-2002) with 29 points and 7 rebounds and the former international point guard Javiera Novion (170-1987, college: Eckerd) scored 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals.

Sportiva Italiana claimed LNF Apertura title. They rallied past Universidad Concepcion to finish Final Four round undefeated. Sportiva Ita. held Univ.Concepcion to an opponent 20.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 28.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Sportiva Ita. forced 19 Univ.Concepcion turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Josefina Cortes (174-1998) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. The former international forward Catalina Perez (195-1997) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. The former international Josefina Viafora (185-1999) came up with 7 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and Italian-Argentinian Daniela Dublo (184-1988) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Univ.Concepcion in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
