Chilean LNB round 6 best performance: Tristan Harper (by Hoops Agents)

American Forward Tristan Harper (198-F-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for CD Universidad Catolica de Santiago, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 26-year old player was the main contributor (28 points, six rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Espanol T. (#6, 1-5) with 19-point margin 99-80. Univ.Catolica maintains the 3rd position in their group in the Chilean LNB. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Univ.Catolica will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. In the team's last game Harper had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Univ.Catolica's top player in his first season with the team. Former Langston University, OK star has very solid stats this year. Harper is in league's top in points (3rd best: 23.8ppg) and averages impressive 54.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Canadian Ben Ezeagu (201-F-2003) of Asociacion Basquetbol Ancud. Ezeagu had a very good evening with 34 points and 6 rebounds. Bad luck as Ancud was edged by Sur's leader Espanol O. (#1, 5-0) 92-91. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Sur. Ancud still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 4-3 record is not bad at all. Ezeagu is a newcomer at Ancud, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.8ppg (#7). He also registered 4.8 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Stephen Maxwell (201-F-1993) of league's second-best CD Universidad de Concepcion. Maxwell scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Univ.Concepcion, leading his team to a 97-89 win against the lower-ranked Puente Alto (#5, 1-4). Univ.Concepcion started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game in Centro. Maxwell turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Maxwell has a great season in Chile. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.5ppg (2nd best).
