Univ.Concepcion was defeated by Espanol on the road 89-75. Worth to mention a great performance of U.S. Virgin Islands-American swingman Jahsean Corbett (198-2002, college: Duquesne, agency: Helping Ballers) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 rebounds and ex-international guard Barham Amor (185-1996) who added 12 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Univ.Concepcion's coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Espanol maintains seventh position with 7-10 record, which they share with Univ.Catolica. Espanol is looking forward to face higher ranked Puerto Montt (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Puente Alto managed to secure a 5-point victory 75-70 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was Ocypher Owens who scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Puente Alto's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Yasmany Fundora produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds for the hosts. Puente Alto have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 10-9 record. Puerto Varas lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with ten games lost. Puente Alto will meet league's leader Los Leones in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Puerto Varas will play against the league's second-placed Valdivia (#2) and hope to secure a win.

Four Puerto Montt players scored in double figures. Puerto Montt's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Ocypher Owens (201-2000, college: Tarleton St.) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and international center Ignacio Ansaldo (198-2003) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests.
