American Brittanny Dinkins (170-G-94) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best COLEGIO LOS LEONES and that's her to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 24-year old guard had the game-high 38 points adding five rebounds and two assists for Los Leones in her team's victory, helping them to outclass New Crusaders (1-1) with 48-point margin 97-49. Los Leones is placed at 2nd position in their group in Chilean Liga Femenina. Los Leones is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Dinkins had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Los Leones and just after two games she already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. University of Southern Mississippi graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dinkins is league's best scorer averaging so far 36.0ppg. Dinkins is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 9.0rpg), assists (8th best: 4.0apg) and averages solid 4.5spg and 69.2% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another COLEGIO LOS LEONES's star - 28-year old American forward Monique Reid (185-F-90, agency: LBM Management). Reid impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds. Of course together with Dinkins she helped Los Leones with another comfortable win outscoring New Crusaders (1-1) 97-49. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Reid is one of the most experienced players at Los Leones and similarly like Brittanny Dinkins has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.0ppg (#4). She also registered 15.0 boards per game.
The third best performed player last round was French Clotilde Schnell (187-F-93) of Lobas (#3). Schnell scored 20 points and grabbed twenty four rebounds (!!!). Despite Schnell's great performance Lobas lost 67-73 to #4 ranked Sportiva Ita.. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Lobas needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in Centro. Their record is 1 victories and 1 lost games. Schnell has a great season in Chile. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.0ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 24.0rpg (#1 in league).

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
