Pedro Martis claims Chilean LNB2 Hoops Agents weekly honour

Pedro Martis put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best CD Huachipato and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNB2 Player of the Week award for round 7.
The had a double-double of 14 points and 20 rebounds, while his team beat Omega (3-3) 76-63. Huachipato is placed at 2nd position in Chilean LNB2. Huachipato is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-3 record. Martis just recently signed at Huachipato, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Martis has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 20.0ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 17.5rpg) and averages solid 2.2bpg and 52.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Celneque Bobbitt of league's best team CD Asociacion de Basquetbol Temuco. Bobbitt impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 29 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Temuco lost that game 73-80 to Escolar Ale. (#6, 0-1). Temuco managed to keep the same 1st spot in Group D. His team has currently 4-2 record. Bobbitt is one of the most experienced players at Temuco and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.7ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 10.8rpg and 3.3apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Kaleb Vaughn (198-F-1996) of Villa Alemana Basquet (#4). Vaughn showcased his all-around game by recording 15 points, 17 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Alemana, leading his team to a 77-74 win against #3 ranked Truenos in a game of the week. Alemana needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group C. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Vaughn has a great season in Chile. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.0rpg (4th best).
