Vaughn's double-double lands him LNB2 Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

29-year old American forward Kaleb Vaughn (198-F-1996) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Villa Alemana Basquet and receives a Hoops Agents LNB2 Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had a double-double of 19 points and 18 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Municipal C. (#6, 0-8) with 49-point margin 110-61. Alemana is placed at 4th position in Chilean LNB2. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Alemana will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Vaughn had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Alemana, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Lake Erie College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Vaughn is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 15.5rpg) and averages solid 2.3bpg,3.3spg and 53.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Valentino Ayala (190-G-2005). He is Argentinian guard in his first season at Alemana. In the last game Ayala recorded an impressive 35 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course together with Vaughn he helped Villa Alemana Basquet with another comfortable win outscoring Municipal C. (#6, 0-8) 110-61. This victory allowed Alemana to move up to 4th position in Group C. His team's 3-2 record is not bad at all. Ayala is one of the most experienced players at Alemana and similarly like Kaleb Vaughn has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.0ppg (#3).

Third place about best performers goes to guard Francisco Atala (G-1994) of league's leader CD Asociacion de Basquetbol Temuco. Atala scored 26 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Temuco, leading his team to a 102-77 easy win against the lower-ranked La Union (#5, 2-4). Temuco confirms their top position in Group D. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Atala has a very solid season. In 7 games in Chile he scored 13.9ppg. He also has 7.7rpg and a FGP of 55.3%.
