CDU Catolica - Puente Alto 72-81

Puente Alto beat CDU Catolica on the road to even the series at 2-2. Puente Alto dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Universidad Catolica's 26. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Corbin Jackson (198-92, college: Florida Tech) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American-Nigerien swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-94, college: UCF) who added 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Jackson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American Scott Cutley (196-85, college: CS Fullerton) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import guard DJ Ursery (193, college: Alaska-Anch.) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Four Universidad Catolica players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

CDU Concepcion overcame Temuco to sweep the series. Universidad de Concepcion outrebounded Temuco 39-26 including 31 on the defensive glass. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by Rakim Brown (198-91, college: Humboldt St.) who scored that evening 31 points and 7 rebounds and forward Brandon Moss (208, college: LSUA) supported him with 28 points and 5 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). Four Universidad de Concepcion players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds by swingman Alssene Saintilus (201-93, college: Bloomsburg) did not help to save the game for Temuco. Guard Kenny Wormley (193-96, college: Hofstra) added 26 points for lost side.

The other American import forward Kristian Clarkson (202-84, college: Widener) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. American swingman Jovonni Shuler (195-87, college: SSU) produced 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Argentinian Lisandro Rasio (198-90) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side.
