There was no surprise in San Felipe where 9th ranked Arturo Prat (1-10) was defeated by sixth ranked Truenos (6-3) 74-61 on Sunday. Truenos outrebounded Arturo Prat 56-44 including 22 on the offensive glass. Guard Francisco Rojas (190-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and forward Nick Morales (187-85) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds. Four Truenos players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Jean Guzman (-0) with 11 points and guard Adrian Toro (176-89) scored 5 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Arturo Prat's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Truenos. They moved-up to third place. Arturo Prat lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with Brisas. Truenos will meet at home league's leader Sportiva Italiana in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
