Universidad de Concepcion inks Eduardo Machado, ex Niteroi

CD Universidad de Concepcion (Liga Nacional) signed experienced 39-year old Brazilian ex-international guard Eduardo Machado (193cm). Machado played last summer at Niteroi in Brazilian Carioca. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Machado was a member of Brazilian Senior National Team back in 2004.
He has played also professionally in Spain (Menorca) and Venezuela (Guaros de Lara 2nd team and Guaros) and Brazil (Flamengo, Vasco da Gama, Botafogo, Paschoalotto/Bauru and Winner/Limeira).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Paulista League Honorable Mention in 2019.
Machado is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Universidad de Concepcion.
