Venezuelan Joseph Campos (175-PG-96) had an amazing evening in the last round for Stadio Italiano and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 25-year old playmaker had a double-double of 18 points and fifteen rebounds, while his team crushed Brisas (#10, 2-16) with 23-point margin 83-60. Stadio Italiano is placed at 4th position in Chilean LNB 2. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Stadio Italiano will need more victories to improve their 11-7 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Campos as usually he does not deliver so high stats. West Los Angeles College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Campos is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 9.5rpg) and averages solid 1.9bpg and 51.9% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 36-year old forward Nick Morales (187-F-85) of Truenos. Morales impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Truenos lost that game 69-75 to the higher-ranked Boston College (#2, 13-4). Truenos managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 8-8 record is not bad and everything may still change. Morales is a newcomer at Truenos and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.2ppg (#3). He also registered 10.3 boards per game.
The third best performed player last round was Juan Peters (F-93) of Manquehue (#3). Peters got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . Despite Peters' great performance Manquehue lost 67-75 to slightly lower-ranked Tinguiririca SF (#5, 10-6). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Manquehue needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 12 victories and 5 lost games. Peters has a great season in Chile. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.9ppg (8th best).
Other top performing players last week:
4. Gaspar Hernandez (SG-99) of Sportiva Italiana - 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
