LNB 2 Round 2: Liceo PN keep a leadership position- May 16, 2022
There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in LNB 2. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Espanol O. - Osorno 76-74 A very close game took place in between Espanol O. and Osorno. Espanol O. got a very close home victory over Osorno. Espanol O. managed to escape with a 2-point win 76-74 on Friday evening. Argentinian center Franco Barroso (207-1994) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international Sebastian Suarez (193-1991, college: Portland St.) chipped in 26 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The former international center Carlos Aranda (200-1992) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Jorge Gadicke scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Osorno players scored in double figures. Espanol O. will meet at home Liceo PN in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Osorno will have a break next round. Arabe de Valp. made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. Center Carlos Ahuile (193-99) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Brazilian Pedro Soares (200-1991) chipped in 20 points during the contest. Four Arabe de Valp. players scored in double figures. Venezuelan point guard Joseph Campos (175-1996, college: West LA) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Cristian Urrutia (-1999) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Arabe de Valp. will meet Brisas in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Visitors were edged by Manquehue 80-78. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Strangely Sportiva Italiana outrebounded Manquehue 41-27 including a 20-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. Truenos held Tomas L. to an opponent 21.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.0 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Tomas L. 58-35 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Truenos looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Tomas L.'s players. Forward Nick Morales (187-1985) scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Martin Morales (-2002) chipped in 9 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Forward Rodrigo Rojas (-1997) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Haitian forward Heder Louis (-1984) chipped in 8 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. The former international forward Fabian Aguilera (-1995) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and forward Elias Donoso (-86) scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Boston College will meet at home Luis Matte in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Liceo PN looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Aleman's players. 26 personal fouls committed by Aleman helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Argentinian power forward Cristian Amicucci (200-1985) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Claudio Cabrera (200-1988) chipped in 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Liceo PN players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aleman will play next round against Truenos trying to get back on the winning streak.
