The 36-year old power forward had a double-double of 30 points and eleven rebounds, while his team beat Aleman (#5, 2-1) 90-78. It allowed Liceo PN to jump to the first place in the Chilean LNB 2. The season is still on an early stage, but Liceo PN already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Amicucci just recently signed at Liceo PN and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Amicucci has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 32.0ppg. Amicucci is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 13.5rpg) and averages solid 55.6% FGP. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Nick Morales (187-F-1985) of Truenos. Morales impressed basketball fans with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led Truenos to another comfortable win outscoring Tomas L. (0-3) 81-43. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Morales is a newcomer at Truenos and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.0ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 9.0rpg and 5.0apg. The third best performed player last round was international guard Fernando Schuler (190-SG-1991) of Manquehue (#3). He was a key player of Manquehue, leading his team to a 80-78 win against Sportiva Italiana (#7, 2-1). Manquehue started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Schuler turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Schuler has a great season in Chile. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.3ppg (9th best). Other top performing players last week: 4.
