Travion Leonard claims Chilean LNB 2 Hoops Agents weekly honour

American Travion Leonard (205-C-1993, agency: Interperformances) had an amazing evening in the last round for Osorno and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 28-year old center had a double-double of 34 points and twenty two rebounds, while his team edged out Truenos (#10, 3-3) 91-89. Osorno is placed at 8th position in Chilean LNB 2. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Osorno will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Leonard had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Osorno, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Barry University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Leonard is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.8ppg and leads league in rebounds with 15.3rpg. Leonard is in league's top in and averages solid 1.3bpg and 65.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Argentinian power forward Cristian Amicucci (200-F/C-1985) of second-ranked Liceo PN. Amicucci impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 34 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Liceo PN to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Tomas L. (#13, 1-6) 103-49. Liceo PN's second position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 6 matches. Amicucci is one of the most experienced players at Liceo PN and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.0ppg (#2). He also registered 9.7 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Argentinian Franco Barroso (207-C-1994) of Espanol O. (#4). Barroso scored 23 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Espanol O., leading his team to a 109-46 easy win against Municipal C. (#15, 0-5). Espanol O. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 2 lost games. Barroso has a great season in Chile. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.5rpg (6th best). He also has 1.2bpg and FGP: 66.1%.
