Leonard's double-double lands him LNB 2 Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old center Travion Leonard (205-C-1993, agency: Interperformances) put on an amazing game in the last round for Osorno and receives a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 37 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Aleman (#9, 4-4) 83-68. Osorno is placed at 6th position in Chilean LNB 2. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Osorno will need more victories to improve their 5-3 record. In the team's last game Leonard had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Osorno, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Barry University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Leonard is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.8ppg and leads league in rebounds with 14.4rpg. Leonard is in league's top in and averages solid 65.0% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Cristian Amicucci (200-F/C-1985) of top-ranked Liceo PN. He is Argentinian forward in his first season at Liceo PN. In the last game Amicucci recorded impressive double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. Of course Liceo PN cruised to a 91-81 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Liceo Curico (#12, 3-5). This victory allowed Liceo PN to move up to 1st position in the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 7 matches. Amicucci is one of the most experienced players at Liceo PN and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.1ppg (#2). He also registered 9.9 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Cristian Urrutia (1999) of Stadio Italiano (#16). Urrutia got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds . Despite Urrutia's great performance Stadio Italiano lost 76-82 to the higher-ranked Sergio Ceppi (#8, 4-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Stadio Italiano can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 8 games. Urrutia has individually a great season in Chile. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.3ppg (3rd best).
