Amicucci's double-double lands him LNB 2 Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

37-year old power forward Cristian Amicucci (200-F/C-1985) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Liceo PN and receives a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had a double-double of 24 points and 19 rebounds, while his team outclassed Truenos (#5, 9-5) with 38-point margin 101-63. It allowed Liceo PN to consolidate first place in the Chilean LNB 2. Liceo PN have a solid 13-2 record. Amicucci turned to be Liceo PN's top player in his first season with the team. Amicucci has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 23.1ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 11.5rpg) and averages solid 58.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Travion Leonard (205-C-1993, agency: Interperformances) of Osorno. He is American center in his first season at Osorno. In the last game Leonard recorded impressive double-double of 35 points and 17 rebounds. Of course he led Osorno to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Municipal C. (#16, 1-13) 103-78. Despite this victory Osorno slide down in the standings to 8th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 9-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Leonard is a newcomer at Osorno and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.6ppg (#1). He also registered 13.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Carlos Ahuile (193-C-1999) of Arabe de Valp. (#9). Ahuile scored 18 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Arabe de Valp., leading his team to a 106-75 easy win against the higher-ranked Sergio Ceppi (#4, 9-4). The chances of Arabe de Valp. ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 7 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ahuile could help Arabe de Valp. to bring them higher in the standings. Ahuile has a great season in Chile. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.0rpg (2nd best).
