Temuco signs Diego Dias Silva

Diego Silva

CD-Asociacion-de-Basquetbol-Temuco (LNB) signed 32-year old Brazilian power forward Diego Dias Silva (207cm-1990) for upcoming 2022-23 season. Dias Silva played last summer at Ferro Carril Salto in Uruguayan LSB league. In 17 games he had 14.9ppg, 10.4rpg, 4.1apg and 1.2bpg. He helped them to win the LSB title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. 2022-22 was a great season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay LSB Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Finals MVP. Dias Silva also played for Basquete Tatui/AABT in Brazilian CBB where in 12 games he recorded 7.6ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.4apg.
He has played previously professionally in Paraguay (1 de Mayo) and Brazil (Joinville, Paschoalotto/Bauru, Osasco, Assis Basket and Paysandu).
