Amicucci's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

37-year old power forward Cristian Amicucci (200-F/C-1985) put on an amazing game in the last round for Las Animas and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Puerto Varas (#9, 5-7) 89-83. Las Animas is placed at 6th position in Chilean league. Las Animas is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. Amicucci turned to be Las Animas' top player in his first season with the team. Amicucci has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 10.5rpg) and averages solid 60.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Justin Satchell (203-C-1995). He is American-Dominican Rep. center in his first season at Las Animas. In the last game Satchell recorded impressive double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds. It was enough for Las Animas to edge the lower-ranked Puerto Varas (#9, 5-7) by 6 points 89-83. This victory allowed Las Animas to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 6-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Satchell is a newcomer at Las Animas and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.1ppg (#3). He also registered 8.1 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Chris Perry (203-F-1994) of Quilicura (#7). Perry scored 18 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Perry's great performance Quilicura lost 61-94 to the league's current leader Concepcion (#2, 8-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Quilicura needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 5 victories and 5 lost games. Perry has a great season in Chile. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.0rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.3bpg and FGP: 60.2%.
