The 28-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 19 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to Puente Alto (8-6) 62-68. Quilicura moved-up to the 5th position in Chilean LNB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Quilicura will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 8-6 record. Perry turned to be Quilicura's top player in his first season with the team. Former Lincoln Memorial University star has very solid stats this year. Perry leads league in rebounds with 13.9rpg. Perry is in league's top in and averages impressive 1.4bpg and 59.7% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was young American Manny Payton (183-PG-1997) of Catolica. Payton had a very good evening with 33 points and 3 assists. Bad luck as Catolica lost that game 75-90 to league's leader Concepcion (#2, 11-0). Catolica is still in a red zone at 12th spot in the standings. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Catolica managed to get this year. Payton is a newcomer at Catolica, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.1ppg (#3). Former Framingham State University star Payton is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Jerry Evans (203-F-1990) of league's second-best Concepcion. Evans showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Concepcion, leading his team to a 90-75 easy win against the lower-ranked Catolica (#12, 4-10). Concepcion have amazing season winning all 11 games without a single defeat. Evans turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Evans has a very solid season. In 7 games in Chile he scored 16.0ppg. He also has 7.4rpg, FGP: 53.5% and 3PT: 44.4%. Other top performing players last week: 4.
