Perry's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

28-year old forward Chris Perry (203-F-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for Quilicura and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
He had a double-double of 51 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed Espanol T. (#13, 4-13) with 75-point margin 127-52. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Quilicura is placed at 9th position in Chilean league. Quilicura is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-9 record. Perry turned to be Quilicura's top player in his first season with the team. Lincoln Memorial University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Perry is in league's top in points (5th best: 21.7ppg) and averages solid 1.5bpg and 58.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Diego Dias Silva (207-F/C-1990) of Temuco. He is Brazilian forward in his first season at Temuco. In the last game Dias Silva recorded impressive double-double of 24 points and 21 rebounds. It was enough for Temuco to edge the higher-ranked Espanol O. (#7, 11-12) by 5 points 81-76. Despite this victory they still are dead at the bottom. 18 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Temuco managed to get this year. Dias Silva is a newcomer at Temuco and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Quilicura's star - forward Shannon Fowler (203-F/C). Fowler showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was another key player of Quilicura, helping his team with a 127-52 easy win against the lower-ranked Espanol T. (#13, 4-13). Quilicura needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 9 lost games. Fowler has a very solid season. In 19 games in Chile he scored 9.0ppg. He also has 6.0rpg and FGP: 55.5%.
