Chilean LNB round 28 best performance: DeAndre Daniels (by Hoops Agents)- May 7, 2023
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed Puente Alto (#4, 18-8) with 28-point margin 80-52. Espanol O. maintains the 7th position in Chilean LNB. Espanol O. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 16-14 record. In the team's last game Daniels had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Espanol O., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former University of Connecticut star has very solid stats this year. Daniels is in league's top in points (9th best: 19.3ppg), rebounds (9th best: 10.0rpg) and averages impressive 1.1bpg,54.6% FGP and 43.9% from behind 3-point line. The second best player in last round's games was young American Chris Perry (203-F-1994) of Quilicura. Perry had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 21 rebounds. Bad luck as Quilicura was edged by the higher-ranked Las Animas (#6, 17-11) 72-71. Quilicura managed to keep the same 9th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 14-12 record is not bad and everything may still change. Perry is a newcomer at Quilicura, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.7ppg (#3). He also registered 14.1 boards per game. Third on the list of top players last round was Ecuadorian center Bryan Carabali (212-C-1999) of Castro (#8). Carabali scored 12 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Castro, leading his team to a 92-61 easy win against the lower-ranked Tinguiririca (#14, 3-24). Castro needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 15 victories and 12 lost games. Carabali has a great season in Chile. After 26 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.0rpg (7th best). He also has 4.1bpg and FGP: 58.7%. Other top performing players last week: 4. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
