Albarran's 43-point game gives him LNB 2 Player of the Week award

Keinder Albarran put on an amazing game in the last round for Liceo Curico and receives a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had the game-high 43 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for Liceo Curico in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Aleman (#5, 2-4) with 32-point margin 100-68. Liceo Curico is placed at 4th position in Chilean LNB 2. Liceo Curico is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Albarran had a remarkable ten three-pointers out of 16 attempts. He turned to be Liceo Curico's top player in his first season with the team. Albarran has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.3ppg. Albarran is in league's top in assists (7th best: 3.8apg) and averages solid 45.9% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Heder Louis (F). He is Haitian forward in his first season at Liceo Curico. In the last game Louis recorded impressive double-double of 16 points and 28 rebounds. Of course together with Albarran he helped Liceo Curico with another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Aleman (#5, 2-4) 100-68. This victory allowed Liceo Curico to move up to 4th position in Zona Sur. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Louis is one of the most experienced players at Liceo Curico and similarly like Keinder Albarran has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.7ppg (#8). He also registered 20.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Pedro Soares of Arabe de Valp. (#5). Soares showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. Despite Soares' great performance Arabe de Valp. lost 76-85 to the higher-ranked Sergio Ceppi (#2, 4-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Arabe de Valp. ranking at the top of Zoba Centro, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Soares could help Arabe de Valp. to bring them higher in the standings. Soares has a great season in Chile. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.2rpg (7th best) and assists with 3.8apg (8th best).
