Ziomara Morrison

Olympiacos Piraeus (A1) added to their roster experienced 34-year old Chilean ex-international center Ziomara Morrison (194cm-1989, agency: LBM Management) for season 2023-24. Morrison played this summer at Gimnastico in Chilean LNF league. She managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In only one LNF game just recently she recorded 12 points and 9 rebounds. The last season she played at Kangoeroes in Belgian Top Division Women where in 25 games she averaged impressive 16.0ppg, 8.8rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg. Morrison helped them to win the Belgian League title. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Center of the Year. She also played 14 games in Euroleague where she had 14.5ppg, 10.1rpg, 2.3apg, 1.1spg and 1.0bpg.
Morrison represented Chile at the South American Championship in Tunja (Colombia) five years ago. Her stats at that event were 4 games: 16.0ppg, Reb-3 (9.8rpg), 1.3apg, Steals-3 (2.0spg), FGP: 50.0%, 3PT: 50.0%, FT: 81.1%.
She is quite experienced player. Thanks to Morrison's pro career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in nine different countries. Morrison has played previously professionally also in Brazil (Sampaio), France (Nantes and Roche), Hungary (Miskolc), Italy (Ribera), Poland (Wisla Krakow and Bydgoszcz), Spain (Rivas Promete), Turkey (Besiktas, Ceyhan and Osmaniye) and WNBA (Indiana Fever and S.Antonio SS).
