However their fans expected easier game. Important game to mention about took place in Valdivia. Second ranked Valdivia (9-2) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 4th placed Las Animas (7-6) 82-80 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Las Animas. It was an exceptional evening for Santiago Soulodre (195-1998) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Winless Club Deportes Espanol de Talca lost to defending champion CD Universidad de Concepcion on its own court 51-123. Winless Club Deportes Espanol de Talca was smashed by CD Liceo Pablo Neruda in Temuco 100-80. CD Espanol Osorno won against Club Deportivo Valdivia at home 78-71. Winless CEB Puerto Montt unfortunately lost to Club Deportes Castro on the opponent's court 66-82. Asociacion Basquetbol Ancud managed to beat Club Deportes Puerto Varas in a home game 83-75.
