Flammes sign Ziomara Morrison

Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes (LFB) has signed Ziomara Morrison, a 34-year old Chilean ex-international center. Morrison, who stands at 194cm, started the season at Olympiacos in the Greek A1 league. In three games, she averaged 9.0ppg, 4.3rpg, and 2.0apg. She also played four games in the Eurocup, where she recorded 5.0ppg and 2.8rpg. Prior to that, she played at Gimnastico in Chile last summer.
Six years ago, she represented Chile at the South American Championship in Tunja, Colombia. Her statistics for that event were as follows: 4 games played, averaging 16.0 points per game, ranking 3rd in rebounds with 9.8 per game (rpg), 1.3 apg, ranking 3rd in steals with 2.0 per game (spg). She had a field goal percentage (FGP) of 50.0%, a three-point percentage (3PT) of 50.0%, and a free throw percentage (FT) of 81.1%.
She is a highly experienced player, having played in eleven different countries across three continents - Europe, Latin America, and North America. Her professional career includes stints in Belgium with Kangoeroes, Brazil with Sampaio, Chile with Leones and C.D. Universitario Austral de Chile, Greece, Hungary with Miskolc, Italy with Ribera, Poland with Wisla Krakow and Bydgoszcz, Spain, Turkey with Besiktas, Ceyhan, and Osmaniye, the WNBA with Indiana Fever and S.Antonio SS, and France with Nantes and Roche.
Her team won the Belgian League Regular Season in 2023. She was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-French LFB Honorable Mention in 2021.
