Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Los Leones (6-1) on the court of leader Ancud on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Ancud 71-66. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Los Leones. Ancud forced 25 Los Leones turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Los Leones helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-Argentinian Erik Thomas (195-1995, college: New Orleans) fired 22 points and 5 steals for the winners. The former international point guard Franco Morales (181-1992) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. American forward Xavier Hill-Mais (202-1996, college: Oakland) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Los Leones' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Undefeated Ancud (8-0) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. Los Leones at the other side keep the second position with one game lost. They share it with Espanol. Ancud are looking forward to face Liceo PN (#12) in Temuco in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Los Leones will play at home against Espanol (#11) and are hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Thirteenth-ranked Catolica (1-6) made lots of trouble for leader Ancud (8-0). Ancud managed to secure only two-point victory 86-84. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Argentinian Erik Thomas (195-1995, college: New Orleans) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds. Grant Lozoya contributed with 15 points for the winners. Colombian Alvaro Pena (197-1995) answered with 34 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) for Catolica. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Ancud. They maintain first place with 8-0 record. Catolica at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with six games lost. They share it with Puente Alto. Ancud will play against Liceo PN (#12) in Temuco in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Catolica will play at home against Espanol and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Espanol can celebrate finally their first win this season after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Puerto Montt (3-5) 88-80 on Friday. It was a great evening for Jamal Poplar who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. At the losing side Sebastian Gomez responded with 27 points. Despite that victory Espanol went down to eleventh position due to points difference, which they share with Liceo PN. Loser Puerto Montt keeps the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Puerto Varas. Espanol will meet higher ranked Los Leones (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Puerto Montt will play against the league's second-placed Espanol (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.

Other games of round 7 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
