Louis' double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Arnold Louis

33-year old American center Arnold Louis (201-C-1990) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked CD Espanol Osorno and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had a double-double of 35 points and 16 rebounds, while his team crushed Puerto Montt (#9, 3-7) with 18-point margin 75-57. Espanol is placed at 2nd position in Chilean league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Espanol will need more victories to improve their 7-2 record. In the team's last game Louis had a remarkable 70.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Espanol's top player in his first season with the team. Savannah State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Louis is in league's top in points (8th best: 19.0ppg), rebounds (7th best: 9.6rpg) and averages solid 2.9spg and 62.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Latraius Mosley (198-G-1990) of Club Deportes Castro. He is American guard in his first season at Castro. In the last game Mosley recorded an impressive double-double of 37 points and 14 rebounds. Of course Castro cruised to a 88-79 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Valdivia (#4, 5-3). Castro's 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-5 record. Mosley is one of the most experienced players at Castro and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Castro's star - forward Justin Jackson (203-PF-1990, agency: AG Sports Solutions). Jackson scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Club Deportes Castro, helping his team with a 69-60 win against the lower-ranked Liceo PN (#11, 2-5). The chances of Castro ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 5 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Jackson could help Castro to bring them higher in the standings. Jackson has a great season in Chile. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.2rpg (2nd best). He also has 2.3bpg and a FGP of 55.2%.
