Universidad de Concepcion signed 31-year-old American 201cm center Roquez Johnson (college: MSU, agency: BIG). He began the season with Atenas in the Argentinian La Liga, averaging 11.2ppg and 6.0rpg in 13 games. Last summer, he played for Kingz in the U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
He is a very experienced player who has played professionally in Argentina (Ferro, Boca, Ciclista, and San Lorenzo), Paraguay (Olimpia), Uruguay (Malvin), Venezuela (Gigantes), Chile (Valdivia and Puerto Montt), and TBL (Cent. Al. J.).
He played in the final of the Paraguayan Metropolitan League Clausura in 2019 and was voted to the Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Nacional Honorable Mention in 2022.
He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2015 and it's his ninth season in pro basketball.
