Forward Gabriel Gonzalez had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 18 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Boris Guerra chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The former international Eduardo Marechal (186-1985) responded with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Aleman's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The game in Santiago supposed to be also quite interesting. Aleman played at the court of Boston College. Aleman did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 84-64 on Sunday. Sebastian Pereira notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort. Even 17 points and 8 rebounds by Lucas Marquez did not help to save the game for Boston College. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: winless Municipal C. was beaten by Stadio Italiano on the road 80-63. Colo Colo won against Truenos on its own court 81-75. Winless Boston College lost to undefeated Luis Matte in a road game 62-73. Quilpue managed to beat Brisas at home 82-73. Winless Municipal C. lost to undefeated Sergio Ceppi on the opponent's court 43-70.
