Chilean LNB round 17 best performance: Arnold Louis

American Center Arnold Louis (201-C-1990) put on an amazing game in the last round for CD Espanol Osorno, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 33-year old player was the main contributor (29 points, seven rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Las Animas (#5, 12-8) with 17-point margin 107-90. Espanol maintains the 4th position in Chilean LNB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Espanol will need more victories to improve their 15-5 record. In the team's last game Louis had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Espanol's top player in his first season with the team. Former Savannah State University star has very solid stats this year. Louis is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.6ppg) and averages impressive 2.2spg and 58.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Roquez Johnson (201-C-1992, agency: BIG) of CD Universidad de Concepcion. Johnson had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Concepcion to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Puerto Varas (#7, 9-11) 102-71. Concepcion's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just four games this season, while they won 17 matches. Johnson is a newcomer at Concepcion, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.6ppg (#1). He also registered 9.2 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward D.J. Foreman (203-F-1994) of Club Deportes Espanol de Talca (#12). Foreman scored 22 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He was a key player of Espanol, leading his team to a 87-85 win against Puerto Montt (5-15). Espanol can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 5-15 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Foreman has a very solid season. In 13 games in Chile he scored 14.1ppg. He also has 7.9rpg and a FGP of 50.4%.
