Farias' double-double lands him LNB 2 Player of the Week award

33-year old Erick Farias (1990) had a very impressive game in the last round for CD Arturo Prat San Felipe and receives a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had a double-double of 40 points and 10 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Sergio Ceppi (#2, 5-1) 96-102. Arturo Prat maintains the 11th position in Chilean LNB 2. They are still not able to win a single game in the league yet. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 5 games and recorded no victories. In the team's last game Farias had a remarkable 61.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Arturo Prat, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Farias has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 20.8ppg. Farias is in league's top in and averages solid 4.8spg,58.7% FGP and 46.7% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Boris Guerra (F/C-1987) of league's second-best CD Sergio Ceppi. He is a forward in his second season at Sergio Ceppi. In the last game Guerra recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 10 assists. It was enough for Sergio Ceppi to edge Arturo Prat (#11, 0-5) by 6 points 102-96. This victory allowed Sergio Ceppi to move up to second position in the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 5 matches. Guerra is well-known at Sergio Ceppi and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.7ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 6.2rpg and 5.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another Sergio Ceppi's star - Luis Marrero (2005). Marrero scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of CD Sergio Ceppi, helping his team with a 102-96 win against Arturo Prat (#11, 0-5). Sergio Ceppi is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 5-1 record is not that bad... Marrero has a very solid season. In 6 games in Chile he scored 12.8ppg. He also has 6.2rpg, 1.2bpg and a FGP of 64.8%.
