Chilean LNB 2 round 6 best performance: Fabian Aguilera

International Forward Fabian Aguilera (F) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked CD Sergio Ceppi, receiving a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 6.
The player had a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Brisas (#12, 0-6) with 33-point margin 91-58. Sergio Ceppi maintains the 2nd position in Chilean LNB 2. They are still close to the very top. Sergio Ceppi would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Aguilera had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Sergio Ceppi, through which he has constantly improved. Fabian Aguilera has solid league stats. He is in league's top in assists (9th best: 3.9apg).

The second best player in last round's games was Francisco Pena (187-G/F) of Club Stadio Italiano de Santiago. Pena had a very good evening with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for Stadio Italiano to edge the lower-ranked Truenos (#10, 1-5) 78-75. Despite this victory Stadio Italiano slide down in the standings to 5th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 4-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Pena is one of the most experienced players at Stadio Italiano and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Argentinian forward Diego Maranesi (F-1997) of Arabe de Valparaiso (#3). Maranesi showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Maranesi's great performance the Arabe de Valp. lost 76-79 to the lower-ranked Boston College (#8, 3-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Arabe de Valp. had another "accident". It may be a crucial game and cause dropping from the group of top ranked teams. The record is still good, but 1st lost game is hopefully really an accident. Maranesi's teammates are also very good. That's why having such high stats is even more impressive. Maranesi has a very solid season. In 5 games in Chile he scored 13.0ppg.
