Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game in Valdivia was quite interesting. Second ranked Ancud (20-4) played at the court of 5th ranked Las Animas (14-10). Ancud managed to secure a 8-point victory 83-75 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Las Animas. The former international power forward Juan Fontena (196-1987) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Franco Morales (181-1992) chipped in 22 points and 4 assists. American Rakim Brown (198-1991, college: Humboldt St.) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Ancud maintains second position with 20-4 record behind leader Los Leones. Las Animas at the other side keep the fifth place with ten games lost. Ancud are looking forward to face Espanol (#13) in Talca in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Las Animas will play on the road against Puente Alto (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Osorno. Local Espanol (19-5) outscored 9th ranked Castro (9-14) 108-77. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Arnold Louis (201-1990, college: SSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Austin Wrighten contributed with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Espanol O.'s coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dominican point guard Adris De Leon (180-1984, college: EWU, agency: BMS Sport Agency) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) for Castro. Espanol have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Concepcion. Castro at the other side keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost. Espanol will play against Sportiva Italiana (#10) in Valparaiso in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Castro will play at home against Concepcion and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last two games of round 22 Sportiva Italiana was defeated by Puerto Varas in a road game 92-82. Puerto Montt was beaten by Puente Alto at home 73-85.
The best stats of 22th round was 18 points and 12 rebounds by Cristian Amicucci of Las Animas.



Puerto Varas - Sportiva Italiana 92-82

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Puerto Varas and 9th ranked Sportiva Italiana had identical 9-14 record. This time Puerto Varas used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Valparaiso 92-82. Puerto Varas shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Sportiva Italiana's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Gabriel Diaz (-1999) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. American forward Yahuza Rasas (201-1999, college: PVAMU) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American-Puerto Rican forward Jonathan Ocasio (196-1992, college: New Haven) replied with 30 points (made all of his seven free throws) and Argentinian power forward Federico Herrera (200-1993) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Sportiva Italiana. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Puerto Varas (10-14) moved-up to eighth place. Sportiva Italiana lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 15 games lost. Puerto Varas will play against higher ranked Valdivia (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sportiva Italiana will play against Espanol (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Puente Alto (12-12) defeated on the road 12th ranked Puerto Montt (6-18) 85-73. Puente Alto players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Puerto Montt's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Justin Everett (206-1996, college: Humboldt St.) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds. The other American import center Dishon Lowery (200-1998, college: OKBU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Puente Alto's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Ecuadorian center Jordan Cardenas (206-1998, college: FNU) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Stan Scott (193-1998, college: MSSU) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Puerto Montt. Five Puerto Montt players scored in double figures. Puente Alto maintains seventh position with 12-12 record. Puerto Montt at the other side keeps the twelfth place with 18 games lost. Puente Alto will play against higher ranked Las Animas (#5) in Valdivia in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Puerto Montt will play on the road against Liceo PN (#14) in Temuco and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
