Louis' double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

33-year old American center Arnold Louis (201-C-1990) put on an amazing game in the last round for CD Espanol Osorno and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 22.
He had a double-double of 37 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed Castro (#9, 9-14) with 31-point margin 108-77. Espanol is placed at 3rd position in Chilean league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Espanol will need more victories to improve their 19-5 record. In the team's last game Louis had a remarkable 68.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Espanol's top player in his first season with the team. Savannah State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Louis is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.2ppg) and averages solid 59.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Austin Wrighten (192-G/F-1996). He is American swingman in his first season at Espanol O.. In the last game Wrighten recorded an impressive 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course together with Louis he helped CD Espanol Osorno with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Castro (#9, 9-14) 108-77. This victory allowed Espanol to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 19-5 record is not bad at all. Wrighten is one of the most experienced players at Espanol and similarly like Arnold Louis has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Former University of Lynchburg star Wrighten is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to center Jordan Cardenas (206-C-1998) of CEB Puerto Montt (#12). Cardenas scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Cardenas' great performance the Puerto Montt lost 73-85 to the higher-ranked Puente Alto (#7, 12-12). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Puerto Montt can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 6-18 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Cardenas has a very solid season. In 24 games in Chile he scored 12.4ppg. He also has 8.5rpg and a FGP of 55.2%.
