Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Sportiva Ita. as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Sportiva Ita. smashed 5th ranked Puente Alto in Valparaiso 89-62. Sportiva Ita. forced 30 Puente Alto turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Andrea Valdes (179-1997) who helped to win the game recording 9 points and 11 rebounds. The former international forward Catalina Perez (195-1997) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the winners. The former international forward Romina Valenzuela (178-1986) replied with 18 points and 8 rebounds for Puente Alto. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sportiva Ita. have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Puente Alto lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with UCSC. Puente Alto will play next round against Gimnastico trying to get back on the winning streak. Sportiva Ita. will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked CDSC in Santiago.
The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Frontera (2-1) in Temuco. Hosts were defeated by Alemana (4-0) 80-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Frontera. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Alexus Johnson (197-1994, college: Texas Southern) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points and 21 rebounds and Tatiana Gomez who added 17 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side point guard Damaris Alarcon (167-2003) responded with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Alemana have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Frontera at the other side keeps the second place with one game lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Alemana will play against Univ.Concepcion (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Frontera will play against Espanol in Talca and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
UCSC's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Puerto Montt (0-4) 93-56 on Saturday. The winners were led by Josefa Catalan who scored that evening 26 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds by Julieta Ibarra did not help to save the game for Puerto Montt. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UCSC (1-3) left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with Puente Alto. It was Puerto Montt's fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Gimnastico. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Other games in round 4 were not that significant. Leones beat Gimnastico on the road 79-69. Winless Gimnastico lost to defending champion Sportiva Ita. on its own court 56-76. Winless Puerto Montt was outscored by Univ.Concepcion in a road game 104-50.
The most impressive performance of 4th round was 25 points and 14 rebounds by Barbara Cousino of Univ.Concepcion.
