The most important game in the last round took place in Puente Alto between third ranked Espanol (20-6) and seventh ranked Puente Alto (14-12) on Sunday night. Espanol was crushed by Puente Alto on the road 91-72. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Espanol O.. Puente Alto shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Dishon Lowery (200-1998, college: OKBU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and the other American import forward Justin Everett (206-1996, college: Humboldt St.) who added 11 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American center Arnold Louis (201-1990, college: SSU) with 22 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Puente Alto have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Las Animas. Espanol at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Concepcion.
Bottom-ranked Liceo PN managed to get the second consecutive victory. This time they won against ninth-ranked Puerto Varas in Temuco 82-72. The winners were led by American power forward Domonta Wright (202-1999, college: Cleveland St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds and Brandon Johnson supported him with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Even 18 points by Argentinian Nahuel Martinez (188-1995) did not help to save the game for Puerto Varas. Liceo PN (6-20) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Puerto Montt. Puerto Varas at the other side keep the ninth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Sportiva Italiana.
