American Domont'a Wright (202-F/C-1999) had a great game in the last round for CD Liceo Pablo Neruda and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 24.
The 24-year old power forward had a double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Puerto Varas (#10, 10-16) 82-72. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Liceo PN is placed at 13th position in Chilean LNB. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Liceo PN have already lost 20 games and recorded just six victories. Wright turned to be Liceo PN's top player in his first season with the team. Cleveland State Community College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Wright leads league in rebounds with 12.8rpg. Wright is in league's top in and averages solid 1.3bpg and 58.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American Rakim Brown (198-SF-1991) of Club Deportes Las Animas. Brown impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Las Animas was edged by slightly lower-ranked Sportiva Italiana (#9, 10-16) 91-88. This loss caused Las Animas to drop to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 14-12 record is not bad and everything may still change. Brown is a newcomer at Las Animas and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.9ppg (#2). He also registered 10.0 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Dishon Lowery (200-C-1998) of Club Deportes Puente Alto (#6). Lowery scored 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Puente Alto, leading his team to a 91-72 easy win against the higher-ranked Espanol O. (#3, 20-6). Puente Alto needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 14 victories and 12 lost games. Lowery has a very solid season. In 6 games in Chile he scored 12.5ppg. He also has 9.8rpg, 1.5bpg and a FGP of 51.1%.
