Los Leones - Concepcion 82-69

Los Leones forced 21 Concepcion turnovers. Strangely Concepcion outrebounded Los Leones 41-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Jerry Evans (203-1990, college: Nevada) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. The former international forward Ignacio Carrion (201-1993) contributed with 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American center Roquez Johnson (201-1992, college: MSU, agency: BIG) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Derrick Woods (203-1996, college: St.Peter's, agency: SLN) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Concepcion. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Concepcion's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Ancud forced 20 Espanol turnovers. American-Mexican forward Aaron Fuller (198-1989, college: USC, agency: Haylett Sports) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Pablo Barraza (184-1994) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists during the contest. American center Arnold Louis (201-1990, college: SSU) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Austin Wrighten (192-1996, college: Lynchburg) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Five Ancud and four Espanol players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
