Chilean LNB 2 round 15 best performance: Luis Marrero (by Hoops Agents)

Luis Marrero (2005) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked CD Sergio Ceppi, receiving a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 18-year old player had a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Arturo Prat (#12, 2-14) 85-70. Sergio Ceppi is placed at 2nd position in Chilean LNB 2. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Sergio Ceppi will need more victories to improve their 11-6 record. Marrero has many years of experience at Sergio Ceppi, through which he has constantly improved. Luis Marrero averages this season 10.5ppg and 7.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was international power forward Jorge Schuler (199-PF) of league's leader Colo Colo Santiago. Schuler had a very good evening with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Colo Colo to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Luis Matte (#10, 6-9) 98-62. Of course Colo Colo still keep the league's top spot. He plays for the best team in the league and Colo Colo managed to win all 16 games keeping a perfect record. Schuler is one of the most experienced players at Colo Colo and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Hilario Sanchez (1999) of Quilpue Basquetbol (#8). Sanchez scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Quilpue, leading his team to a 78-68 win against Arabe de Valp. (7-8). The chances of Quilpue ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 8 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Sanchez could help Quilpue to bring them higher in the standings. Sanchez has a great season in Chile. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.6ppg (best scorer). He also has 2.4spg and a FGP of 50.6%.
