However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Municipal C.. Point guard Simon Fernandez fired 15 points and 6 assists for the winners. Juan Peters (-1993) chipped in 8 points and 8 rebounds. Center Matias Villagran (199) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds for lost side. Undefeated Colo Colo have an impressive series of twenty one victories in a row. They maintain first place with 21-0 record. Ramiro Galvez contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Venezuelan forward Angel Galaviz (198-2000) answered with 12 points and 8 rebounds for Luis Matte. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Stadio Italiano. They maintain second place with 14-7 record having seven points less than leader Colo Colo. Luis Matte at the other side keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Undefeated leader Colo Colo delivered the twenty first consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Aleman (11-9) 81-72 in Puerto Varas. It was a great evening for Cristian Urrutia who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side Eduardo Marechal responded with 15 points and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the twenty first consecutive win for Colo Colo. They maintain first place with 21-0 record. Loser Aleman keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Boston College. Colo Colo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Santiago Sergio Ceppi.

Other games of round 19 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Brisas were crushed by Truenos in Talca 84-62. Sergio Ceppi beat Arabe de Valp. at home 79-71. Boston College destroyed Arturo Prat on the opponent's court 88-57. Arabe de Valp. unfortunately lost to Stadio Italiano in a home game 68-79. Luis Matte recorded a loss to Quilpue on the road 55-66.
The best stats of 19th round was 26 points by Hilario Sanchez of Quilpue.




Truenos - Brisas 84-62

There was no surprise in Talca where 11th ranked Brisas (4-15) were crushed by third ranked Truenos (13-7) 84-62 on Saturday. It was a great evening for forward Martin Morales who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Alessandro Morales helped adding 11 points and 8 assists. Four Truenos players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Edisson Jofre (-2001) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Luis Cutis (-1995) scored 12 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Truenos maintains third place with 13-7 record having nine points less than leader Colo Colo. Loser Brisas keep the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Truenos will meet Luis Matte (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Brisas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Santiago to the arena Boston College.

The former international forward Fabian Aguilera helped adding 19 points. At the losing side Argentinian forward Diego Maranesi (-1997) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Alejandro Guevara scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Gabriel Soto helped adding 14 points and 4 steals. At the losing side Felix Rivas responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and guard Tomas Gonzalez (188-2000, college: Waldorf) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds.
