There was no surprise in Talca where 11th ranked Brisas (4-15) were crushed by third ranked Truenos (13-7) 84-62 on Saturday. It was a great evening for forward Martin Morales who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Alessandro Morales helped adding 11 points and 8 assists. Four Truenos players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Edisson Jofre (-2001) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Luis Cutis (-1995) scored 12 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Truenos maintains third place with 13-7 record having nine points less than leader Colo Colo. Loser Brisas keep the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Truenos will meet Luis Matte (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
