Sportiva Italiana sign Anthony Danridge, ex Colon

Anthony Danridge

Sportiva Italiana Valparaiso (LNB) landed experienced 38-year old American 196cm power forward Anthony Danridge (college: N.Mexico) for upcoming season. He joins another USA player KJ Simon who is already in the roster.
He played most recently at Colon F.C. in Uruguayan Metropolitan. In two games he just recently played he averaged 10.5ppg, 3.5rpg and 2.0apg last season.
He is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eight different countries on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Danridge has played previously professionally in Argentina (Libertad), Lebanon (Byblos), Paraguay (San Jose), Uruguay (Defensor, Aguada, Stockolmo, Trouville and Atenas), Venezuela (Toros), Chile (CD Universidad de Concepcion, Liceo Mixto and Puente Alto), Ecuador (Universidad Tecnologica Equinoc. Quito) and NBA G League (Cleveland Charge).
Among many awards he played in the final of Uruguay Metropolitan League in 2021. He received Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay LUB Player of the Year award and Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay LUB Import Player of the Year award back in 2019.
It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Sportiva Italiana.
Danridge graduated from University of New Mexico in 2009 and it will be his 16th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
