Chris Ware (ex Zamora J.) joins Valdivia

Chris Ware

Club Deportivo Valdivia (LNB) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old American center Chris Ware (203cm-125kg-1989, college: Indiana Tech) for new 2024-25 season. He played last season at Zamora Jaguars in Ecuadorian Liga Basquet Pro.
The most of last season he spent at Atenas Cordoba in Argentinian La Liga Argentina where in 32 games he had 7.7ppg and 4.6rpg. He helped them to win the Argentinian Liga Argentina title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. Ware also played for Mogi (NBB) in Brazilian league.
He is quite experienced player. Ware's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in thirteen different countries. Ware tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in Argentina, Brazil (Vivo/Franca, Pinheiros and Sao Paulo), Canada (Blackjacks), Colombia (Tigrillos), Georgia (Kutaisi), Indonesia (Prawira), Iran (Khouzestan), Kosovo (Drita), Portugal (Illiabum and Sampaense), Romania (Giurgiu), Uruguay (Miramar), PBL (Sauk Valley P.) and Ecuador (Guerreros Neaume Marco Cepeda).
Among many awards he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Honorable Mention back in 2020.
Ware graduated from Indiana Institute of Technology in 2012 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season as a professional player. He played for other colleges like: Pittsburg State University, Lincoln College.
