Sportiva Italiana clinched LNF title. They overcame Los Leones to complete the sweep of the championship series. Sportiva Ita. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Dorie Harrison (190, college: Lipscomb) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds. The former international Josefina Cortes (174-1998) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Sportiva Ita.'s coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Venezuelan Daniela Morillo-Wallen (179-1995, college: Okla City) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds and the former international point guard Javiera Campos (163-2002) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Los Leones. Four Los Leones players scored in double figures.
