Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Fourth-ranked Puerto Varas (14-9) gave a tough game to second ranked Univ.Concepcion (19-4) on Saturday. The visitors from Concepcion managed to secure only one-point victory 85-84. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Puerto Varas. American forward Stephen Maxwell (201-1993, college: CSUN) scored 25 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Sebastian Carrasco (180-2000) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Andrew Corum (201-1997, college: Virginia St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Univ.Concepcion maintains second position with 19-4 record behind leader Los Leones. Puerto Varas at the other side keep the fourth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Sportiva Italiana. Univ.Concepcion are looking forward to face Las Animas (#9) in Valdivia in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Puerto Varas will play at home against Ancud (#7) and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Espanol (16-7) against ninth ranked Las Animas (9-14) on Sunday night. Host Espanol was defeated by Las Animas in a tough game in Osorno 80-86. Even a double-double of 27 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward DeAndre Daniels (206-1992, college: UConn, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Espanol. Las Animas maintains ninth position with 9-14 record. Espanol at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. Las Animas will play against league's second-placed Univ.Concepcion at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Los Leones have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 20-2 record. Loser Puente Alto keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Ancud.
