Chilean LNB round 22 best performance: Roquez Johnson (by Hoops Agents)

American Center Roquez Johnson (201-C-1992, agency: BIG) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Colegio Los Leones de Quilpue, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 22.
The 32-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, seven rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Puente Alto (#8, 10-13) with 19-point margin 85-66. It allowed Los Leones to consolidate first place in the Chilean LNB. Los Leones has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 20-2. Johnson turned to be Los Leones' top player in his first season with the team. Roquez Johnson averages this season 15.5ppg and 7.1rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Richard Granberry (203-F-1993) of Asociacion Basquetbol Ancud. Granberry had a very good evening with a double-double of 25 points and 17 rebounds. Of course he led Ancud to another comfortable win 87-70 over the lower-ranked Valdivia (#11, 5-18) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Ancud to move up to 7th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-13 record. Granberry is one of the most experienced players at Ancud and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.3ppg (#7). He also registered 8.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward DeAndre Daniels (206-F-1992, agency: BIG) of CD Espanol Osorno (#3). Daniels showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Daniels' great performance the Espanol lost 80-86 to the lower-ranked Las Animas (#9, 9-14). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Espanol needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 16 victories and 7 lost games. Daniels has a very solid season. In 2 games in Chile he scored 25.0ppg.
