Hilario Sanchez claims Chilean LNB 2 Hoops Agents weekly honour

Hilario Sanchez (1999) put on an amazing game in the last round for Arabe de Valparaiso and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 25-year old had a double-double of 38 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Arturo Prat (#4, 0-1) with 34-point margin 90-56. Arabe de Valp. is placed at 3rd position in Chilean LNB 2. Arabe de Valp. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Sanchez had a remarkable 73.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Arabe de Valp. and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Sanchez has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 30.0ppg. Sanchez is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 12.0rpg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 64.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Martin Morales (F-2002) of league's best team Truenos de Talca. Morales impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds. It was enough for Truenos to edge Tinguiririca (0-2) by 6 points 75-69. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Morales is one of the most experienced players at Truenos and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.5ppg (#7). He also registered 12.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was international guard Tomas Alvarez (185-PG-1989) of top-ranked CEB Puerto Montt. Alvarez scored 25 points. He was a key player of Puerto Montt, leading his team to a 98-74 easy win against #4 ranked Aleman in a game of the week. Puerto Montt has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Alvarez also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Alvarez has a great season in Chile. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.5ppg (5th best).

10. Sebastian Villarroel) of Brisas - 19 points and 7 rebounds
