Chilean LNF round 9 best performance: Kwanza Murray (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Kwanza Murray (170-G-1996) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Municipal Puente Alto, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (34 points, three rebounds and three assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass Brisas (#6, 1-8) with 35-point margin 84-49. It allowed Puente Alto to consolidate first place in the Chilean LNF. Puente Alto have a solid 8-1 record. In the team's last game Murray had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. She just recently signed at Puente Alto, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Lincoln University of Pennsylvania star has very solid stats this year. Murray is in league's top in points (3rd best: 21.1ppg) and averages impressive 60.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international center Ziomara Morrison (194-C-1989) of league's second-best CD Esc. Alemana Paillaco. Morrison had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds. Of course she led Alemana to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Puerto Montt (#3, 3-3) 83-50. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Zona Sur. Alemana consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Morrison is one of the most experienced players at Alemana and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.3ppg (#7). She also registered 14.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Alemana P.'s star - Italian forward Daniela Dublo (184-PF-1988). Dublo showcased her all-around game by recording 19 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 7 assists in the last round. She was another key player of CD Esc. Alemana Paillaco, helping her team with a 83-50 easy win against #3 ranked Puerto Montt. Alemana needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Zona Sur. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Dublo has a great season in Chile. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 14.7rpg (2nd best) and assists with 4.3apg (4th best).
