Colombian Forward Leyder Moreno (195-F-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked CEB Puerto Montt, receiving a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 31 points and 15 rebounds, while his team crushed Aleman (#3, 2-2) with 25-point margin 99-74. It allowed Puerto Montt to consolidate first place in the Chilean LNB 2. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Puerto Montt already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Moreno had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Puerto Montt, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Leyder Moreno has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.4ppg), rebounds (8th best: 10.4rpg) and averages impressive 2.4spg and 53.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Antone Robinson of league's leader C.D. Boston College Santiago. Robinson had a very good evening with a double-double of 29 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for Boston College to edge slightly lower-ranked Stadio Italiano (#3, 3-3) 73-67. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Boston College consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 5 matches. Robinson is one of the most experienced players at Boston College and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.7ppg (#7). He also registered 8.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Brazilian Gabriel Cardoso (2002) of league's second-best CD Liceo Curico. Cardoso scored 19 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Liceo Curico, leading his team to a 87-79 win against #4 ranked Constitucion. Liceo Curico needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Group C. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Cardoso has a great season in Chile. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.8rpg (5th best).
