The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Illaplel (5-2) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Arabe de Valp. (6-2) 71-56. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Illaplel. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Erick Anabalon stepped up and scored 19 points and 8 assists for the winners and Andres Martinez chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. There were no big surprises in other games of round 9: Truenos beat Municipal C. on the road 76-62. Quilpue lost to Arturo Prat on its own court 67-75. Constitucion unfortunately lost to Tinguiririca in San Fernando 60-73. Luis Matte managed to beat Stadio Italiano at home 74-61. Arturo Prat was crushed by The Sharks on the opponent's court 87-59. Aleman beat Huachipato in a home game 88-73. Temuco lost to Omega on the road 75-80.



Brisas - Boston College 54-84
