Saravia's 31-point game gives him LNB 2 Player of the Week award

16-year old Francisco Saravia (2008) had a great game in the last round for CD Aleman Concepcion and receives a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had the game-high 31 points adding five rebounds and three assists for Aleman in his team's victory, helping them to beat Huachipato (#5, 1-7) 88-73. Aleman maintains the 3rd position in their group in the Chilean LNB 2. Aleman is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-3 record. In the team's last game Saravia had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Aleman's top player in his first season with the team. Saravia has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (9th best: 4.0apg) and averages solid 60.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Agustin Villalon (184-G-2000) of CD Arturo Prat San Felipe. He is a guard in his first season at Arturo Prat. In the last game Villalon recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds. Of course Arturo Prat cruised to a 75-67 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Quilpue (#3, 3-4). Arturo Prat's 5th position in Group A has not changed. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Arturo Prat managed to get this year. Villalon is one of the most experienced players at Arturo Prat and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.2ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 11.4rpg and 5.6apg.

Third place about best performers goes to Alfonso Gonzalez of CD Tinguiririca San Fernando (#5). Gonzalez got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds . He was a key player of Tinguiririca, leading his team to a 73-60 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Constitucion (#4, 2-5). Tinguiririca can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group C. They have rather bad season and 1-7 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Gonzalez has a very solid season. In 8 games in Chile he scored 15.8ppg. He also has 6.8rpg, 2.3spg and a FGP of 56.9%.
